📍 Project Snapshot

Location: Arcadia, CA
Scope of Work: Wood framing + structural steel installation
Size: 3,708 sq ft main home + 728 sq ft ADU
Details: 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a spacious 2-car garage
Partner: Built in collaboration with Marcarelli Design

🪚 Phase 1: Foundation to First Floor Framing

Once the foundation was set and leveled, our framing team got to work. We began with:

Sill plates and floor joists, anchored securely to the foundation
First-floor wall framing using kiln-dried Douglas Fir lumber for durability and precision
Custom window and door openings framed to architectural specifications
Lateral bracing and hardware installation for seismic compliance

Each cut and angle was made with care to ensure strength, stability, and accuracy down to the last stud.

🧱 Phase 2: Second Floor and Structural Steel

As we moved into the second floor, our scope expanded to include:

Load-bearing wall transfer points and proper load path alignment
Structural steel integration where needed for large spans and open-concept living areas

This blend of wood and steel framing allows us to maintain design integrity while meeting all California building codes.
